SHOTTON YOUTH CENTRE OPEN DAY

14 months ago we started with a blank sheet of paper and now we have a brand new sustainable youth centre for the young people of Shotton.

In a rare moment this summer, the sun shone and the skies were blue as the local community and all those involved with the design and build were invited to celebrate the official opening of SYC (Shotton Youth Centre).

The young people who have contributed to the design of the building were actively involved with the ribbon cutting and Rona Hardy, Chair of Shotton Parish Council, was present to say a few words.

So well done to the D3A team and our colleagues at McCarrick Construction for pulling out all the stops. We hope the building provides a great hub for the local community to use and enjoy.
