CRAG HOUSE BARN CONVERSION

How's this for a before and after?

Changes in farming practices meant that a barn at Crag House became redundant. d3associates Architecture Team were commissioned to redesign it as a sustainable family home. The house had to be contemporary in appearance whilst blending in naturally with its surroundings. It was also important to utilise renewable options and so underfloor heating and hot water were provided by an air source heat pump.

It was a happy ending for the sheep too - they've confirmed they much prefer their new outlook.
