WESTMORLAND & FURNESS BUILDING SURVEYS

This week 4 members of our Energy team are heading to Cumbria to carry out surveys on a selection of buildings controlled by Westmorland & Furness Council.

Initially, this includes Care Homes in Alston, Penrith & Kirkby Stephen and Leisure Centres in Penrith & Appleby.

With the aim of helping the Council to reach their net zero carbon emissions target by 2037, we aim to understand the energy performance of each building and identify measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.

Our findings, which will include measurable outcomes, will then be set out in bespoke Decarbonisation Plans which are due for delivery next summer.
