WELCOME JAMES

James Eckersley recently graduated from Newcastle University with a First-Class Honours MEng in Mechanical Engineering with Energy Systems, having spent his early years growing up on a dairy farm in Lancashire.

A summer Internship at EDF Energy helped James decide a career in low carbon energy was what he wanted to pursue and he will now be involved in the design of district heating networks and a range of decarbonisation projects including energy audits and feasibility studies.

In comparison to life back on the farm consisting of early mornings, milking cows and driving tractors, joining the d3a Energy Team may well feel like a stroll in the park. Welcome to the team James.
