HELLO JOE

Welcome to our new recruit - Joe Thompson - who's joining D3A as a Graduate Engineer. Joe served for 6 years in the Royal Marines before completing a degree in Architectural Engineering at the University of Leeds.

His role at D3A will be to support our Energy team with the delivery of decarbonisation plans and district heating schemes. We’re presuming he’ll find office life is a little less physically challenging than the Marines - but who knows? The Pathway to Net Zero can be tough.

As well as a new job, Joe is also getting settled into the north east. With action packed hobbies like kayaking and surfing we think he’s chosen the right place to be - and we’re delighted to have him as part of our team.
